As a clinician, she practices a common factors approach influenced by an existential-humanist perspective. Clinical interests include intermodal expressive arts, Eastern therapies with an emphasis on mindfulness based practices, spirituality, body based psychotherapies, shame resilience, self-care practices for caregivers, holistic health practices and interventions focused on the development and integration of spirit and soul, post-traumatic growth, and social justice issues.
